Details Details No Cover Image Available 9NONEReview Of Reviews, Spencer Trask & Co.In the spring of 1909 the company name was changed to The Mailometer Company. On October 9th they applied for a patent for the addition of the control perfin die. The Company reintroduced themselves to the New York market at the Fifth National Business Show, held at Madison Square Garden Oct 25 thru 29 1909. There was some usage on this pattern in 1909 by Review of Reviews magazine, most likely a demonstration , either at the show or in Mailometer's New York sales office. The machine with this pattern was eventually sold to Spencer Trask & Co., an investment banking company. Best known for financing Edison's electric light bulb.
Details Details No Cover Image Available 91UnknownThis very rare pattern has been associated with Spencer Trask. I'm not sure why ? . They continued to show usage of Des 90-1 after the Des 90-2 reported date of 7/1/1910. Must have been reported on cover at one time. Possible blind perf ?? I'd like to see one.
